synopsis:
Chan’s voice dies in the back of his throat and he can’t even remember if he says ‘hi,’ but he must because Minghao carries on the conversation like Chan’s mouth hasn’t fallen to the floor.
“You must be Chan,” he says, brushing his blond fringe out of his eyes and flashing a charming smile. Chan’s heart thuds loudly in his chest. Minghao’s eyes twinkle beneath the studio lights—or maybe it’s Chan’s imagination. He adds, “Soonyoung hyung talks a lot about you.”
Chan weakly manages, “That’s so cool.”
Chan gets roped into joining Soonyoung’s band as a replacement for their drummer. He develops an embarrassing crush.

my notes: chanhao does not get enough appreciation and frankly that's a tragedy because there's so much there. this fic is fantastic and amazingly explores Parts of the stuff that's there, but i wish it were longer. :( i long for more chanhao. other than that it's frankly perfect, so cute and funny.
chanhao + hao realizing he’s in love with chan after spending the day taking photos of him around the city
“can you send me that one?” chan asks as they lean over minghao’s camera.
minghao nods, something tingling in his fingertips as chan turns away to focus on his phone and minghao is left with a camera roll of chan in varying degrees and angles. each photo makes the tingling in his fingers expand until minghao is struggling for breath as his entire body shakes, his heartbeat an erratic tattoo in his chest.
