the whole apocalypse/end of the world set up they ended s2 with and literally ALL of chantonys interactions this season completely allow for a chantony confession scene to be A Thing for a hypothetical s3.

at this point... i may be dumb but i feel like tony genuinely feels romantic love towards chan ???? at least a crush ??? we have:

- "you love chan, you should date him. / maybe i should."

- something something "maybe you'll feel what i'm feeling right now."

- tony looking DEJECTED when he tells chan how hes sensitive and caring and smart and handsome and chan tells him to be his hypeman. which literally does not make sense character wise bc tonys job is to BE A HYPEMAN. he's the MEDIA MANAGER OF SPACE FORCE. and he can't do it for his best friend bc he "messed it up in high school" ?? absolutely not 😭 there was something else there i swear.

- before he tells chan that HE AND ANGELA decided for chan and angela to stop sleeping together he goes on this thing abt how he cares for him and he doesnt wanna see him get hurt....... which is very friend like sure but AGAIN. something else there

- EVERY OTHER CHANTONY INTERACTION THIS SEASON ??? THEM IN EP 3 ????????? HOW ELSE CAN I SAY IT

but anyway. all i'm saying is that chantony s3 could have the end of the world and they have their very cliche love confession ..... something something "since the world is ending ive been hiding this from you for so long and i cant die with it - i love you" from tony ..... it doesnt have to be reciprocated but tony WOULD do this. then the world doesnt end and tony and chan are standing together and it slowly starts to make sense for chan. IT IS POSSIBLE
