She was lucky that the book keeper in the castle's library was gracious enough to loan her some amazing books, and she was excited to share them with Rock! He should've been back from his duties anyways. She stepped into their room-- and he was dead asleep in their bed. It had been a rough day. The femme smiled, set her books down, and properly tucked him in and gave him a kiss...

Chaos replied back promptly. She had nothing else to do while she was in the infirmary bed with Zephyr anyways. "He's doing great! He's pretty chatty for a little guy, but I'm not surprised. He'll be allowed to leave the Med Bay tomorrow."

"That's excellent, I'll have to come by and see him with Shining!"

Chaos smiled and hummed through the com. "Happy Fathers Day, Rock! Now that you have a little sparkling under your care you're officially a dad... for now at least. I had some books sent your way, I hope you enjoy them~!"

He smiled with appreciation, rubbing the back of his neck. Well, Tiffa isn’t going to be… “That is too kind of you, Miss Commerce. Thank you for the sentiment— how is Zephyr, by the way?”

Rock had positioned himself in the back corner of this imprisoned room, still shaking like a leaf from the electromagnetism impulses they shocked him with. His optics were wide and slightly dilated, obviously under a lot of stress but there he sat, alert, waiting for the next thing they would try. Finally, one Dark Axis Gelgoog sauntered on in, his optic peeling with delight.

“Have you decided to tell us anything about that traitor yet?”

“I’m not telling you squat,” He barked the retort. The interrogator moved faster than he could see, slipping one long, sharp claw under his chin, alongside his cable connections. Rock flinched back in surprise but knew it was too late, he wouldn’t be able to move without severely damaging his sensors. Then again, would they risk that when they wanted this information so badly?

“Before you get any dumb ideas, and you gundams are always full of them,” His engine purred, sadistically enjoying every moment of this. “I just want you to know the Professor has every ability to extract your hard drive and rip the information we want manually.” The tinge of his voice interlaced with the hissing sound of his air duct, amplifying a sultry and menacing sound. Rock knew what extracting his hard drive more than likely meant, a horribly painful process, but he would never tell them what they wanted about her. Not as long as he could help it. “But, that’s just a hassle. He’s a busy mech. Why don’t you be a good knight and tell me where she sought asylum, and maybe we’ll let you have a couple of books in your cell~”

Rock’s chassis shuddered but his optics fixated at the ominous one staring him down, suddenly giving a dry laugh. It was not the reaction his interrogator was looking for obviously, and a gnarly sneer was his response. “Do you think this is a game?!”

“…And if I erase it myself… you won’t have anything to take… isn’t that right,” The desert knight confessed breathlessly. The Gelgoog froze in place, and then grew cross. Very, very cross.

“You should never hope to see that blight of a kingdom again if that is how you want it!” Rock already initiated the failsafe, lowering his helm unconsciously and the Gelgoog, in a fit of rage, slashed across his face, throwing him to the ground. “You lousy—!!”

Chaos came around the corner with some odd packages on hand. She saw a flash of red armor and smiled. "Oh, Battle! Nice to see you~! Have you seen Rock or Nat--" She stopped. The red knight slowly looked to her snarled, foaming from behind his facemask. He looked like a wild animal. The femme froze-- and then she ran. "I NEED SOME HELP FOR BATTLE! HELLO?!"

(( oh MY FIUYSDHJFBADSNMD WHY BATTLE HE IS FLOOF BALL that would be the stuff of nightmares ))

Chaos looked down to her friend. He looked-- so peaceful sleeping like that. If only he were JUST sleeping. "Hey, Rock..." She shakily started. The femme reached into her bag and pulled out a curious little object. A tiny lemon souffle rested perfectly in her hands. "I... I finally made it, and the kitchen's still intact. They look just like they did in the picture..." She bit her bottom lip and set it on the small desk next to him. "We can make some... when you wake up.... please get up soon.."
