Klarion has been quite a thorn in people's side for quite some time. He knew that better than anybody in fact he was pretty sure that they understood what the definition of chaos was. The villains and heroes hated dealing with him but he couldn't quite place why.

Chaos isn't about just disrupting someone's day it's about being unpredictable. Whether it's good or bad will just entirely depend on that person's morals of course. The Joker really didn't understand that since he said that he was the chaos clown Prince or whatever.

Yeah he never did anything besides negatively impacting people's well-being and daily life which to be fair he does that too but not as often as this guy. But that's besides the point Klarion has found someone interesting and that's rare because if he doesn't view them as toys then what exactly was he. There is this guy who was kind of pretty and just rake of magic whether he knew it or not.

It wasn't even normal magic it was like death magic which is impressive for someone his age. Though he has a sneaking suspicion he probably had the same condition as he did as his physical appearance did not actually portray his age well.

Danny Fenton. Sweet guy, made so many jokes that were so funny that he didn't even realize he could laugh that hard. Klarion was absolutely smitten with him but he didn't know how to ask him out. So he does what he does best and made the most chaotic way to ask this one guy out on a date.

Take over every surface that projects an image and wax the most cringiest star poetry to get his attention. Of course he didn't mean to take over every screen in the world but a win is a win he saw it. Danny definitely saw it so did the rest of the world but that wasn't important.

What was important was the fact that he managed to get a genuine laugh out of him. A genuine laugh out of Danny from Klarions that attempt of asking him out. Oh that was an absolute win.

Meanwhile he was glad that worked out for some reason Justice League thinks that he's trying to take over the world with Space Magic? No idea what that was supposed to mean but sure why not. His attempt of courting the death magic user has nothing to do with the planet because he could care less about the planet right now. Klarion found himself on cloud 9 so the heroes can just wait he has a date to plan.

Klarion was just escaping after a good fight with the young justice league, with teekl laid in his arms.

Only to find that He was being followed by a pretty twink for the passed three and half block. Unfortunately for him, he is going to met a painful end in the fire only to find his hand grabbed, chaotic powers neutralized immediately the overwhelming sense of balance coating over him as he was being carried bridal style.

Oh..

This is actually happening.. to him?

Now, klarion only heard rumors of people of balances being the opposite source of chaos as soul mates with the strength of pure possessiveness. Along with stories about them were practically fairy tales at this point in time, and klarion been around for a very, very long time.

He is ignoring his rapidly beating faster then light speed heart as he glances up at the Stardust coated freckles, luminous bright icy blue with green pupil eyes, glowing lichtenberg scars creep like vines going upwards from his collar part of his shirt towards the end of his chin.

Klarion can handle this. He is not internally geeking out, nor was he ignoring Teekl's smug-looking face as she flick her tail a bit.

One in many lifetime opportunities of meeting a person of pure balance will not stop him fro-

"H-Hey, are you listening?" Klarion's heart nearly leaps as the smooth tone of his very soulmate looking concerned and awkwardly trying to get his attention.

Seem that Klarion was taken to the Safe place of his Soulmate.

Meanwhile, Danny is freaking out that he accidentally kidnapped the most prettiest guy he had ever seen along with their cat who was looking oddly smugged.

Klarion had always been a being of Chaos. It was a part of his being, but something people seemed to often forget was that Chaos wasn’t inherently malicious. It was fun.

His starlight saw that. His starlight didn’t try to change him. His starlight accepted his chaos and tricks with a feral smile and loving arms. His starlight saw him for what he truly was.

So when some mortals in white attempted to take his starlight away?

Well, the world already saw him as evil.

It’s time to show them exactly how evil he could be.

So, during the whole Freakshow thing, it wasn't true mind control. Danny was definitely affected, but it messed with his self esteem and emotions to the point where he damaged all of his relationships and is considering running away. Freakshow, who was a little bit smarter in this, then reveals that he knows Danny's a halfa and hey, why don't you join my ghost circus while you figure some things out.

So Danny becomes a clown because he's always liked clowns, and if you've seen the new episode, you know what happens next

and over the course of a few years, Freakshow isolates Danny from his family and friends, indoctrinates him into the crime side of business, and gaslights Danny into thinking he's nothing without him. Danny loves performing, but is so beaten down that he thinks he can't leave even if that's what he wants. Danny's a famous performer at this point, even if no one knows his real identity. The other ghosts aren't really a comfort since they're mind controlled.

The Justice League, specifically Young Justice, already know that Circus Gothica is a crime ring, but have no evidence to get them arrested bc the ghosts (who they think are just metas) are too good. The leader during the thefts (Danny) is the only one they've ever been able to get close to. Maybe at some point, Tim!Robin and Danny get trapped and Danny has a panic attack for failing Freakshow? Something happens that makes Tim convinced Danny isn't a criminal willingly, but he can't convince the others.

Danny and Klarion somehow end up dating. Freakshow joins the light, probably, and the two work really well together. Klarion asks Danny out, and Danny was really reluctant since he hasn't had... anyone, in years, but they date and it's just another thing for Freakshow to hold over his head.

Eventually, Freakshow gets the inkling that Danny isn't working as hard as he should be so he puts "Greatest Clown in the World" contest, and tells Danny that all the clowns who don't win will be immediately killed.

Danny is horrified, but he can only care about himself right now, so he's working his ass off.

(Meanwhile, in Gotham, the Joker tried to join, but the Batman broke in, stole all his bones, and left him in the hospital for a few months)

So Danny's putting his all into this performance, but Young Justice finds out about the murder bit and infiltrates with, IDK, disguised Nightwing? Klarion is also there to support his man.

Danny ends up tying with Nightwing, and the tie-breaker is a three minute performance and whoever's more entertaining wins. Danny has a panic attack during Nightwing's performance and Tim and Klarion team up to talk to Danny.

Danny's convinced he will be nothing without Freakshow (literally, he might fully die), so while Klarion helps him feel better about his skills, Tim finally gets the deets about Danny's whole situation. Tim logics that Freakshow mindcontrolling this other dimensional species + Danny is half this species = Danny is being mind controlled, pissing off Klarion while Danny thinks back to what happened when Circus Gothica first came to town.

His irrational anger at family and friends, his desperate need for approval from Freakshow, how he never even considered going independent, how he thought he was immune to the mind control staff despite being half ghost.... He's pissed. He wants to quit.

So he tells Tim that YJ needs to get the staff during his performance; without it, Freakshow wouldn't be able to mind control anyone. And he goes on to give his performance.

As for that... look, 2 Minute Notice is an amazing song with amazing choreography. the only thing i would add would be a quad somersault during the trapzee part.

Danny proves himself as an amazing clown, Freakshow gets arrested since Danny is willing to testify against him, the ghosts are free, and Klarion later murders Freakshow in a cell because that's his boyfriend, you pathetic excuse of a warlock.

"Freakshow, you sad sack of shit! Fuck you!"

Love Spell fanfic idea

DP x DC fanfiction idea named "Love Spell" that I have been mulling over the past couple of weeks.

Klarion x Danny shipping (Chaotic Spirits) story, because why not and it would be fun to write about the chaos these two could cause.

Took some inspiration from this, this, bit of this and this.

Danny really didn’t know whatever he should laugh, cry or flip the nearest table he could get his hands on. He never really thought highly of the Justice League to begin with, hell, you would be hard-pressed to find anybody in Amity Park who did nowadays.

But this… this could just as well take the metaphorical cake of bullshit that has been piling up over the past three years.

He took a deep, measured breath before focusing back on his boyfriend. His sweet, lovable, very-much-chaotic-immortal-man-child of a boyfriend.

“...They think I’m what now?”

On the other side of this conversation sat Klarion, the witch boy extraordinaire, who was combing his slender fingers delicately through his precious familiar’s fur as he watches his beloved having a hard time grasping at the situation. And since he thought of himself to be a rather fantastic boyfriend, he repeated what he said.

“The League of Simpletons have somehow gotten in their heads that I must have enthralled you in one way or another in order to get my hands on some ultimate power, as part of my apparently evil master plan.”

Danny took another breath, this was just getting ridiculous. But then again what else was new, these people really knew how to make a mountains out of a molehills. Even Wes didn’t have this severe of an apophenia, he at least ended up being right more often than not.

“So they think you’ve put me under a love spell or something?”

Klarion merely shrugged in mock-helplessness. “Apparently you wouldn’t be dating me otherwise.” In all honesty he probably shouldn’t be enjoying this as much as he currently is, but he couldn’t help himself.

His ever present smirk widened when his beloved Starlight’s face twitched in irritation. “For Ancient’s sake… seriously?” A simple nod was enough for Danny to want to throw the next Justice Idiot who was stupid enough to come close to Amity Park’s boarders through the nearest window!

Calm down Danny, calm down. Just remember Jazz’s breathing exercise. One… two… three…

…

Wait a minute… would that mean- no way in hell way they’ve been…

“Wait a minute- Is that the fucking reason why they’ve constantly been ruining our dates these past few months!?”

Another nod.

Yeah, fuck being calm and shit, ya boy is absolutely livid! All this time they were doing it on fucking purpose!! He so is going to burn all of their ugly ass capes and dye all their ugly ass costumes pink! Better yet, he’ll paint their entire HQ with the most obnoxious and clashing colours possible.

Klarion let the halfa rage about for a good moment before interjecting. It wouldn’t do to have the lounge destroyed, especially when that energy could be used on something else he has in mind.

“We could have fun with this you know, at their expense.”

Danny stopped in his track and turned his inquiry gaze towards Klarion. He knows that smile and it could only mean trouble, trouble which he was more than willing to partake in. A smirk of his own began to grace his lips. “What do you have in mind exactly?”

Once again Klarion was reminded why he’s dating this gorgeous creature in the first place. Trust him to be able to match his chaotic nature despite his hero persona.

“Oh you are going to love it, my dear.”

Love me Dead by Ludo: Ok this song's lyrics are about a toxic as hell relationship BUT this song very much so has the vibes of "Villains fight together in sync being evil and very much so in love"

How Bad Can I Be? by Ed Helms & The Lorax Singers: I... I have no way to defend myself for this one. The feeling of pure horror and the dreaded realization that I felt when I realized that this song fit is something I'll never forget. What's more Chaos Evil Incarnate than capitalism?

I've Got No Strings by The Andrews Sisters: Klarion is a Lord of Chaos. He has no morals or restrictions. He has no tethers to humanity to care for them.

Turn Around by They Might Be Giants: Klarion POV. Dude is trying to kill/frighten Danny but Danny just isn't having it.
