Could it be a autism things to become restless and angry when understimulated or does this seem like a more adhd thing?

I think it’s related to both, autistic people can be restless when they’re not stimming, though it’s more associated with ADHD

I was reading a post and it said that you were training your dog to do dpt. I was wondering how you would go about training them to do it and commands that your dog should know beforehand. Thank you for taking time out of your day to answer this. Hope you’re having a good day.

The first command that I taught was lay down. Then they learned the “up” command, which meant that my dog would put their front feet on my lap.

DPT can be trained the same way as “up”, but it’s basically just using treats/a toy/whatever motivator you have to lure your dog into your lap and then having them lay down. You can make the command more solid by teaching them to position themselves in a way that their pointy joints don’t stab you. :P (which is what I had to do with Hesper because he is a very Pointy Spaghetti)

But DPT is a pretty simple command to teach! Work on down stays to solidify the command, and then give them a release (I use the word “free”) to let them get off your lap when you’re done!
