Oh man that name romanization ask brings back memories... When I first started reading the manga, things were wild. Name spellings changed chapter to chapter depending on who translated them. It seems that only recently (probably with 2011 and a consistent official anime translation)the fandom has settled on specific spellings. I remember early chapters translating Freecss as Freaks, now you never see that anymore.

if i remember right, the succession war has to end before they reach the fake continent. im pretty sure that was one of the conditions that the king set, that the winner has to kill the rest by the time they land
