When people speculated that maybe Law could hear the voice of all things? Well?

maybe he can? Maybe not Zunesha’s voice, but Luffy’s (Luffy could also sense his life force). The officials might come out with something more. And I think it’s limited to Law, but what if?

it extended to the Heart Pirates too? Although that seems to be a development that happened at the time.

So, I’ve got three theories:

One, this is some kind of rebirth thing with Luffy being Joyboy reborn, but since I don’t recall any rebirth -talk in One Piece, this is pretty unlikely.

Two, Luffy’s soul/the voice of his soul/whatever it is that Zunesha is hearing is so similiar to Joyboy’s that she simply can’t tell the difference.

Three, “Joyboy” was never a name but some kind of title instead, and Luffy has now met the requirements needed for that title, making him a new “Joyboy” in Zunesha’s eyes.
