I re read Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Chapter 142.
Rudo is very empathetic towards love people have towards things
Amo being sensitive have been said out loud by Corvus the knower of things
for now (ch158) before we get to see how power is going to work, i'm presuming it will be similar to what Gountess describes here
and Gountes. Our KIND AND GENTLE AVENGER
is so sensitive, so wonderful that he can open DOOR TO PEOPLES HEARTS and connect to them, you cant do it without empathy
of course we dont know exactly how much love he feels towards those people's hearts. but i think he wouldnt be able to connect to them without having his heart be open to feelings. it wouldnt make any sense
all despite being drained for years by this devil
Gountess still kept his heart intact, his sensitivity, his empathy.
AND THEN YOU HAVE ZODYL WHO IS LIKE "ITS GOOD THAT YOUR HEART IS FUCKED UP ACTUALLY ITS WHAT MAKES YOU BE ABLE TO WIELD THIS POWER CANT YOU SEE"
bro..........
of course i cant wait to understand Zodyl better
This is one of my favorite Vivi moments and I consider it quite important and, dare I say, essential for opla. It gives us context about the type of people Vivi, Wapol and Dalton are in just two pages. She was a better leader and more thoughtful when she was a kid that Wapol will ever be in his entire life, and her resilience meant something for Dalton when he was already having doubts about Wapol's role as a king.
It's important that we see these little things between Vivi and Wapol because each one is everything the other is not.
ugliest thing about how Amo have been using her power before was the fact that her experiences were horrific and her "love " was a defense mechanism
"then you can feel like you are in love" feel like as in pretend. lie to yourself. because thats what Amo had to do to escape
yeah you are especially good at it because THAT'S your actual strongest feeling from the past. that is your real strongest experience: deluding yourself into love.
sad
but fact that i think Urana begun acknowledging all that is so amazing it blows my mind
"welcome to the real world"
"if Amo wants to stand on her own she must stop lying to herself"
"lack of experience"
could it be that Amo finds out she has to overhaul the use of her powers because she had been using "experience of love" that had been completely fake
she admitted now that what she had was never real love
and now she has to start using her REAL feelings from her experience to create smells
"Amo wont be any help" because I've been using made up feelings. i never felt them then and i especially dont feel them anymore. thats why they never made people happy when i used them on them, because they werent real "happy times"
"if Amo wants to stand on her own two feet, without anyone's help then now..." to be useful in fights. so she doesnt have to be saved - she has to do what Enjin suggested and use her real feelings.
"I'm guessing you are a very sensitive person" AMOOOO
😭😭😭
the wording was specific...Amo took it to heart and decided to break completely free from her past delusions
back when 142 came out and Mymo counter attacked and said this "welcome to the real world" shit - i thought it was nothing. sure ofc it makes sense that Amo wouldnt just solve the problem, that would be plot breaking level of power
so i thought she simply got her down to put Amo on a shelf for later
I NEVER WAS HAPPIER TO BE WRONG
wham bam sike stupid Amo character development is happening NOW!!!! you thought she's just gonna sit down doing nothing??? no!!
i really did think that
but Urana is too amazing and cares about Amo so much. she's nooooot sidelining her. our princess is THE STAR
how good we have it
