It's Agni's birthday! He is an exemplary butler who likes to cook, read, meditate, and pray. And because he dislikes the "turbulent mundane life" (Character Guide, page 73), let's celebrate with some leisurely trivia :)

Yana was "touched" when she heard Agni's <Jo aagyaa> for the first time in 11 years in Season 5. (source)

He shares his birth date with Rian Stoker.

Spoiler trivia (Ch126 onwards)

Yana had Agni's fate in mind ever since his first appearance in 2007. (source and translation)

However, she initially contemplated killing Soma, not Agni, when the townhouse would be attacked. Yana changed this because she "felt Agni would manage to protect Soma no matter what." (Yana Toboso Artworks: Black Butler 4)

The Monthly GFantasy version of Ch128 mistakenly gives Agni's death date as November 28. (source) The date was rectified (it should have been November 15, as given in Ch124) when it was re-released in Volume 26. The English print release still includes the wrong date.

Agni's full birth name is Arshad Satyendra Iyer. He stated in Ch17 that he used to be a Brahmin (the highest caste). Because the surname "Iyer" refers to and is carried by those who are part of the Brahmin caste's Iyer sub-caste, Agni was most likely a member of that sub-caste/community.
