Yuji Itadori loves Fushiguro so much, who in turn is willing to see his stepsister Tsumiki be happy with someone who he trusts so much, Itadori.
“… with someone like you… then I’d think about how happy I was.”
Why is everyone stating that the author hates the MC because of the latest chapter? And why is half of the fandom surprise that Kaiser was able to score the second goal?
The chapter title, "Superstar" and the way the chapter ended last time is a dead giveaway that Kaiser will score.
That's the most logical route in there considering that the author has given him a backstory, a conflict, an ongoing character development since the Ubers match until now and take several L before he scores this goal.
We're not counting his bicycle kick off a goal back in the Ubers match because as they say, "it's just some scraps from Isagi's movements."
To the fans who are saying that his ego awakening, scoring a goal now and backstory is rushed, ARE WE ACTUALLY READING THE SAME MANGA?
Kaiser's viewpoint and position in the team has always been challenged and he has take several L from Isagi before this MOMENT.
The author neither hates the MC nor Kaiser. It's just a cohesive writing. For those who are saying that Kaiser should score a goal in the future U20 match because he needs to be obliterated by Isagi to smithereens and forced to score by his assist, WOULDN'T IT BE PREDICTABLE AND REDUNDANT BECAUSE WE'VE SEEN THIS IN YUKIMIYA'S RIVALRY WITH ISAGI. As seen from the author's style, he likes putting on a twist and it wouldn't be a real character development for Kaiser is he scores again a goal from Isagi's assist nor some scraps from him.
It's a good writing twist to put Kiyora as the one who will contribute to his victorious goal because as a reader you can also understand Isagi's viewpoint of being genuinely surprise since he's the unknown variable in the match.
As much as I'm not Kaiser's biggest fan, we need to be objective and give credit where it is due. It's a great chapter. The chapter title did justice to Kaiser's theme and objective as a character to the story.
For those yapping that Isagi won't be able to score a hattrick now, that is just a false statement. A LOT OF THINGS CAN HAPPEN IN THIS MATCH AND KNOWING ISAGI AND HIS UNPREDICTABILITY IN THE FIELD, IT MIGHT STILL HAPPEN. YOU PEOPLE ARE JUST IMPATIENT LIKE THE TIME WHEN YOU'RE CLOWNING KIYORA'S CHARACTER JFC.
Isagi's character development is still ongoing and I'm glad that the author is not making him OP and taking the route in a realistic way. He will still learn a lot of things along the way. And maybe he'll bring the victory once again with his final goal in the future.
