Jason, early on in his return to Gotham.

Watching the Batsignal go up turns his twists his stomach in knots. He's already planning on going out, causing some more ruckus. But for now... for now he'll watch the symbol that gave him such so many memories, so many scars, and breathe.

Inhale the shitty, bitter tobacco and let it drag a shred of control back.

He'll go in a minute. When the light goes out, and he knows Bruce is on patrol. For now, he watches the flickering light pulse in the thick clouds of smog, and remembers.
