writing a nonbinary co-lead and a male co-lead is very funny because whenever I write a nonbinary character I worry about accidentally misgendering them (I frequently misgender myself so it's not much of a surprise) but my actual issue for this book is that I keep misgendering the male co-lead by using they/them for him
