Benders are born into each nation, according to the season. Therefore, Earthbenders are born during spring while Airbenders are born during autumn, etc. However, the number of Benders born during a season represents only a small percentage of all the children born. While benders are frequently born to parents who also posses this power, it’s not uncommon for parents without powers to birth a Bender.

Because of the lengthening summers, the Fire Nation births more and more Benders, while the other nations birth fewer. Therefore, the Fire Nation’s conquest means disaster for opposing Masters. Seasonal changes will become non-existent. With the world stuck in perpetual summer, Firebender numbers will grow and strengthen, while Water, Earth, and Airbender numbers will weaken and diminish until they are extinct.

100 years of lengthening summers. 100 years of less and less benders of all other types being born this is making me UNWELL.

Corithan

Village doctor, former soldier and nomad, Corithan Brisenblik has retired after witnessing too much bloodshed. Native to the west, Corithan began his journey to become a great doctor after his parents fell ill to a local plague. Leaving home, and never returning, he learned to live along the road and help those he could. He spent time in towns along the way, gathering any knowledge he could and eventually becoming an apprentice under a medicine man in the Roche’dieu Kingdom.

All was well until war broke out.

Roche’dieu joined it’s ally, Calvalio, in protecting it’s border from the De Hadmi in the east. Being attacked by sea, Calvalio called for help. Corithan was drafted for his skill as a doctor, and did his best to help those on the battlefield. After three years, the conflict settled, and Corithan was asked to practice in Roche’dieu’s capital. He declined and continued his nomadic journey east.

His travels brought him in touch with Gareth, who offered medical assistance in exchange for protection on the road. In the summer, when Gareth would travel north, he would meet her in a southern town and travel along with her. When she headed south for the winter, he would meet up with her again and travel down the coast. After doing so for years, Corithan finally decided to settle down in the hills around Lake Loali, becoming the local doctor to the small village of Dentenfal where he is occasionally visited by Gareth.

But Corithan is surprised when Gareth shows up after several years, bringing a knight and two children in desperate need of shelter.

I have talked about what I was inspired by in my Analysis of the screenplay for my character design......

Final character bible pages

I decided to re-arrange and update the bible pages a bit so they looked a bit more finished and professional.

This is what they look like now...

I chose to go with the overall theme of greens as I thought it goes well with both Eva and Evaline's colour scheme so it fits with the overall vibe and looks allot more complete than it did before in my opinion.

I didn't colour all of the pages as it was necessary for all of them but my favourite page by far was the prop design one, I really enjoyed making the original concepts and sketches of them.
