(Hey all! Just wanted to give a bit of an update on Hihivachi! There has been a bit of development behind the scenes with him, with several storylines with @fiftharbiter (Hannah Castille). And yes, they are seeing each other. Secret Admirer revealed!)

Update~

Been a hot minute since i’ve done one of these. 

Helisent is completely caught up/geared, with her whm sitting pretty at i446, irrc? I’m liking WHM a lot more than I thought I would, probably cause DRK took a little bit of a dip in how much I liked it. DRK is at 80, and the 80 quest destroyed me. Her monk is about 72, but I’m not really focusing on it for right now. 

I’m vaguely thinking about doing rp plots related to her ICly learning Monk, but it’s not a priority. Right now I’ve been slowly chipping away at a Hel/Ardbert fic that’s ... gods almost at 7k words. And it’s part one of X. 

Shining has PLD maxed, and at i444, and working on SCH/DNC next. DNC is at 67, mostly cause i’m using it to grind out SB beast tribes. I’ve got Ananta maxed, so onto the Kojin. I loved the PLD 80 quest-- I love my highlander kids and their refusal to admit they’re in love. 

I’d like to take Shining to the First, if I can. Have her be this Sprite Charmer of the Wilds, who does odd jobs here and there, and is a local cryptid. It’s just a matter of figuring out what i want of it. 

Nive is the farthest ‘behind’. I’m using her to level four classes at once so I can do the Role quests in one fell swoop, as she’s the only one with all four roles filled. Currently she’s about to enter Fannow in the Rak’tika Greatwood, with SMN, SAM, and WAR at 74, while AST is 77. Healer ques yo. I also am planning to record each set of quests, so I, and anyone else, can have a set reference for them. Please do not spoil me on the quest after the role quests -- I’m really eager to find out what’s up. 

I’m also using her to complete every single sidequest i can get my mitts on, so that’s an added slowness bonus. However I’m not doing them all until I can fly, cause otherwise I’d drive myself mad. 

I keep meaning to do a write up of what I thought about SHB... But I’m already doing a bunch of other stuff. Maybe some day.

Decided to compare these two to the first time i drew them!!! Diablo is...pretty much exactly the same, his design clicked almost instantly for me. I def am so proud of my improvement with both of these characters! 

It’s funny, initially I designed them to be “MOBA champion/hero” concepts. I can still see them being in that type of world but I’m so excited to develop them further!

Something a little different today. I’ve been playing in a friend’s homebrew campaign for the past two and a bit years, and a year of that has been me playing this fellow, Salek Swiftblade. Born into the Swiftblade family, he showed a natural aptitude for magic at an early age, but was tricked by his uncle to forge a pact with a vampire warlock, to better ‘serve the family’ later in life when he was still only in his teens.  Distraught, alone, and his powers amplified by natural sorcery from his father’s bloodline, he escaped his family and sought redemption, vowing to return and destroy his patron one day, ending Vampirism in its entirety once and for all. The above picture was him 3 years into his adventuring life (brand new to the campaign). A year of playing (both in and out of character), the below picture is the new Salek, his chaotic evil demon familiar now in dragon form, and the powerful Bismuth mace in hand, ready to take on the world.

Character: Tokayami Sakurada(To-Taka)

Tokayami Sakurada, otherwise known as To-Taka, is a seventeen year old vampire in his second year of upper secondary school. He has two step-sisters, Sakuma and Sakuya, which he absolutely despises, along with their father/his step-dad. He refuses to refer to any of them as family, causing him to only refer to his step-father using his first name, Jones, or if he’s feeling extra petty, Jonesy Boy. He is an arrogant vampire from Wisconsin, of which he was forced to move away from when his mother got married to Jones, leaving what seemed like his entire life behind. But, all hope wasn’t lost. Only two weeks after they moved and he’d transferred to a school there, he met a first year named Mizurou Takato, a raccoon Nekomiya. And soon after they met, this new acquaintance asked To-Taka out, to which To-Taka accepted, thinking it’d be pleasant to have someone by his side in this new school. And it was. To-Taka almost immediately grew fond of Mizurou’s cheerful personality, also enjoying the fact that he was one of the few people that was fluent in English as well as Japanese, meaning Mizurou was able to properly teach him Japanese and translate things to English for him. Because he was from The States, he didn’t know any Japanese besides Kon’nichiwa and Sayonara. His mother tried to get him to learn Japanese along with her when she and Jones had first started dating, but he never bothered to try, since he didn’t think the relationship would last longer than a month or so. But, after three years of dating and two years of being engaged, they got married. Definitely didn’t see that one coming, huh To-Taka?
