UPDATED CHIP DESIGN!

I’m so so so happy with how this turned out, I really leaned into the heart shapes and blue flame as design influences. I feel like my chip design has always been a bit too dull for my own tastes, so I’m really glad I was able to figure him out :))

⭐️Avian AU⭐️

Hello! You may or may not notice the style change, but I’m here to quell any worries about me changing my art style!

This is simply my alternative art style for my more “serious” AU’s, where my usual cartoony art style just wouldn’t match up with the story I want to tell / how I want to represent the characters. This style probably won’t be used ever again except for this singular post, and is more so going to be used for any readers visiting my tumblr for the first time to catch a glance at how I interpret the characters!

Honestly, if I could make them cartoony I would as these reference designs completely destroy the flow of my account. But beggars can’t be choosers.

I do have a cartoony version of Sun and Moon already made though for regular posting, so maybe that’ll fix this artistic sin. (ㅠ﹏ㅠ)

Aside from that, if you’re a fan of my Ao3 account. Do look forward for more chapters revolving around this trio to come out! Four more are drafted and in the works!

Ref sheets I made of the Disc drive robot guy in order to make the low poly model of him. I still kinda just balled it for the model tho i didn't take it very seriously xD

He was passed down through many workplaces/owners??? and employed for many slightly different things, and most of his body is actually new or modified parts. Only his head was really kept original, he says he likes it that way. His model is relatively old so most of them are no longer operational without modifications. A side effect from all the changes is that he can fit into human clothes now. He Now lives as someone's roommate in some city, originally employed by that person but she realised that she didn't actually need his help on that much and it would probably be a lot of trouble for o' Disc drive if he had to relocate. In the meta context, he eats my files and complains that there are too many images and that is not a balanced diet.

Idk what his designed purpose would be in his world tho, maybe it was just some boring office stuff but eventually it got lost and melded with other stuff after each hardware upgrade.
