Art is so weird

one day you draw for like 1 hour and a half and you're like "this thing sucks. I'm done"

and the next day you're like "hm. you know what this needs? a cape."

So it's been a bit since I drew anything (*cough cough* december *cough cough*). I've been posting a lot of gaming stuff so you may have forgotten that this was supposed to contain updates on my comic

Don't worry though so did I. Anyways here's a little comparison between december 2024 and today (february 2025). Fun fact I have not touched digital art since december... whoops :)

They're both the same character don't worry, I'm just updating him a little bit. The biggest update is his eye color because I felt like his original ones didn't pop as much. This also may not be my best work because I had an accident at work!

Nothing major, just an automatic door shoving my finger against a corner of a wooden stand at my work. Had me go to the hospital for the first time in over five years so now I'm wearing a bandaid on my left hand to protect from stuff getting in there.

Did I mention my left hand is my dominant hand?

Hello hello. So, this update is from two days ago. I forgot to post it the day I was done and yesterday I didn't draw anything because.... There was a creep at my work! Yay!

For real though, I was shaking super hard and crying and it was not a fun day. My boss wanted me to come in today and I just said fuck that. Thankfully nothing happened with the creepy dude but still. Hope that never happens again :)

Hello hello Aku is back. This time I worked on the pants and one singular boot. While the right side of the pants looks fine, the right looks.. off. Well, it both looks off so who cares am I right :)

Anyways about my life. I had sushi today, it was pretty good. My job is giving me a shit ton of hours as a part timer (like 40 in one week, I do not like this), and my therapist said that I probably have something to do with dissociation. I also got her to write on the whiteboard yay, I was wondering when she was gonna use that in one of our sessions. Overall though, really good therapist, I like her

So totally didn't forget to post this yesterday. I got some of the shading done, only on the hair, face and left side of the cape. The drawing on the right is also a way of showing myself how much I've improved (it was drawn about a month and a half ago)

Finished the base colors 3 days ago... Haven't worked on doing the rendering and shading but I'll probably do that when I get home.

Eyes suck so much. I hate them. Also boom outline done, just need to do the colors
