Moon's struggle.
I can Imagine that now Moon is broken, he tries to jump back up onto the stage but fails. Every time he tries to he gets hurt. He stays determined to get back up there, because he believes in himself. I doubt he's the type to give up easily. He tries again and again, only to continue falling, and is unaware that he is hurting himself.
He gets frustrated, and tries one more time, but tumbles down the cage, and into the pit. In pain, and exhausted. He looks up reflecting onto the times where he used to be able to get up and fly across the room swiftly.
He understands his condition, it's a part of his grief. But he remembers his character. He misses being the person he used to be. That's a painful memory, and he's fighting to get it back. This is his new life now. In pain, exhausted, confused, angry, and scared. Moon sees a ball right Infront of him, and grabs it.
Then holds it close to him. In that one little ball is all of his memories he holds in his core. The toys he played with are happiness and Joy. While he holds onto the ball, it's the only thing that keeps him alive, and determined, are his toy's.
He cries, and slowly puts his head down to goes to drift off to sleep. Until, he hears a sound outside. He perks his head up and listened. He thought he hard a noise a few seconds ago, but then he hears a voice.
It was not an employee's voice. No, it was a young girls voice. "The TV screen was there, but now it's not! This AR thing is so weird!" He heard her say. Moon perks up, because it's a child.
He's never heard children's voices in a long time. Which it feels like for an eternity. He never really felt caring towards them, which is true. But he really missed them.
Hearing a kid in this ruined place, lifted him up again. It's like the first time he's gotten happy, from the first time he got created, that never experienced what that felt like. For what this reminded him from before, he thought he could be himself again.
This is just like last time, how I used to be! He wants to do it again. Today is happening, he hears her wonder up closer to the back entry of the daycare.
Moon quickly scrambles out of the empty ball pit and gets into position. He hears the cautious young girl creep under the broken slide, into the play structure, it leads her in. He creeps up and gets ready.
I felt like rambling about Moon today. Because, he needs some acknowledgement.
