I know I don't write about/draw Delara much, but it never ceases to amuse me that I took this Lawful Good Sniper/Ranger and made her into a Neutral Evil Blood Mage.

I mean, her parents (My demonologist Ard and his wife, a necromancer, Mariam) also dealt in darker magic sooo... Yeah. Makes sense.

I'm totally revamping my toons. Soleil used to be my "evil witch" character but eh, it makes more sense for Del to be that, given her upbringing.

....I guess I'll make Sol my arcane archer?? Man I keep wanting to make an arcane archer but it NEVER. HAPPENS.

While I'm on the topic of changing/revamping characters, I'd like to mention that I'm changing Jacobi's name (Baen and Svenja's red headed brother) to Dmitri. Dmitri Ackerman just sounds better than Jacobi Ackerman imo. He's still more or less the same.

I need this week to end so I can get back to drawing my characters again. Heugggh.

More OC rambling...

- Decided to change up Delara (Al's half sister; follows the tag #Del) occupation. She is no longer a soldier in each of her AUs. Instead, she is a bounty hunter (more specifically, an arcane ranger). She still has her bear (Kolos), still marries Egg, and either has/adopt a son nicknamed Mole (Moseby in modern/Pokemon aus).

- Delara has three younger siblings (they're triplets): Benteire (#Ben), Catalina (#Cat) and Dulcinea (#Dolly). Ben feels a heavy burden to carry on the family name; Cat and Dolly are the "princesses"/spoiled rotten and tricksters; Del wasn't about being a "lady" - so she willfully left her noble ties and sought a life of adventure.

- Al, Del, Ben, Cat, and Dolly share the same father. Their father is unaware of Al's existence (until it is brought up to him - depending on the AU). Del meets Al after taking on a bounty of Egg's head (Egg's story is that he, unintentionally, crossed a bunch of gang members/pirates... Again, depending on the AU).

- In fantasy AUs where there's gryphons, Al's gryphon and Del's bear do not get along. At. All.

- Also in fantasy AUs, Al specializes in summoning and eletrical magic (he still cares for animals as a vet, or the closest thing to it in medieval/fantasy settings); Dolly and Cat specializes in fire and ice magic respectively; Del specializes in arcane magic (she's an arcane ranger); Ben has no magical talent.

- Onto a different family: Bae's family (The Amberhelms/Ackerman/Angwin/etc.) is a military family. Military service is tradition and expected of its members. Svenja (#Sven) served before leaving and pursuing a career in politics (eventually becoming an ambassador or senator, depending on the AU). Bael/Baen (#Bae) was discharged; Jacobi (#Jac) also served before also leaving and becoming a scientist; Nadine (#Naddie) served and eventually became a career officer.

Updating a few things about my OCs, specifically Tre, Al, and Finn.

- I originally wrote that Tre fathered twin daughters because he was confused about his sexuality. I'm retconning this so that its Finn who fathered the twins (Clementine and Noire), which brings me to my next point.....

- For about two years I shipped Al with Svenja, another OC of mine, in AUs other than WoW & ESO. However, as I've developed both of these characters' persoanlities, I've retconned their relationship, too. They have conflicting view of the world(s) they live in. Instead, she's shipped with Finn. They're closer in age to each other than Al & Svenja. She is now Noire & Clem's mother.

- Additionally, Z (my troll druid, Obi's brother) is now being changed from a male OC to a female OC... Primarily because I simply don't have enough female OCs. Z's still largely the same and still chubby! I'll need to draw her one of these days.

Some more OC rambling...

- In all of Egg's AUs he was raising his late sister's daughter, Kharla (Khari/Khara depending on AU), along with his younger brother, Syd. I've decided to scrap Kharla from Egg's story because Egg is too much of a neurotic/has other priorities to focus on than raising a child. Syd still dies in most of the AUs Egg is in (Syd's death is a catalyst for change in Egg's character growth). Also, Egg is no longer a closeted bisexual guy and instead a straight guy

- Al's foster mother is a veterinarian in modern AUs (and I guess an animal physician in more medieval/fantasy AUs?). Since Al and his foster mother had such a close relationship, Al also becomes a vet.

- Furthermore, Al is now bi in all of his AUs (although, in most AUs, he gets married to his best friend's older sister, Svenja).

- Finn, Al's olser foster brother, was a ranger (both in fantasy AUs, and a park rager in modern AUs). He loses his legs from an infection and becomes a writer. He loves the great outdoots.

- In fantasy AUs, Al has a gryphon pet named Pooch. In an AU where gryphons don't exist, Pooch is either a cosmic bird (Pillars of Eternity), or a cat (cat familiar in fantasy AUs, or a normal cat in modern AUs).

- Al also no longer has a bastard son in his AUs. Although he and Sol were once in a relationship, they do not have a son together anymore.

- The Ackerman family (Amberhelm/Angwin/etc depending on AU), the family is known for their love of dogs, and each member has a dog (Svenja has a golden retriever named Abraham, Jacobi has papillon named Newton, Baen has a mastiff named Hobbes, and Nadine has a pug named Muds).

- Originally Jacobi dies but I decided to change that too. Jacobi becomes a chemist. He and Tre (Trevlan/Tremont/ect Sunstalker/Shelbourne/Shield-Borne/etc) were never in a relationship. Tre is still gay though.

- Remember when I decided to scrap my old bounty hunter OC and his sister (basically combine the two into one)? Well, I decided to change that too. Purely because I'm starting to have too many OCs and the OCs I do have aren't being "used" or built up on more. I'm cleaning house, so to speak.
