what are your favorite pencils (charcoal or graphite) you use for your work? bonus question, which sketchbooks or just paper in general?
I decided to make a guide for this because I’ve been asked this a lot lately lol
the sketchbook I use most recently is a leather one that I have no clue where it came from! I mainly just use random paper for whatever, only recently I’ve been looking for actual paper meant for charcoal lol.
also the kit shown in the image isn’t the exact same one I bought when I first started charcoal but it’s similar soooo hopefully that’s helpful
*IMPORTANT* I’m definitely not a professional charcoal user and I would not consider myself extremely knowledgeable on what are the best materials for art lol these are just what I use so keep that in mind
