So here's my drawn/written out headcannon for some MCD world building with Meif'wa since we don't hear anything specific about them! I realize tumblr would probably eat this world building headcannon up so take and feast lovelies 😌
I headcannon that in Minecraft Diaries the Meif'wa race have standard features that we would recognize to be similar to Filipino! Of course they are not completely the same since this is a fictional race anyway, but some of those features line up with what we see and expect them to look like in our world.
When seeing their designs and knowing they have cat features, we imagine big, feline eyes. Or even sharp nails, enlarged canines, and good senses. With KCs interests and personality seeming to reference Japan (what a time on the internet am i right?), it only makes sense to me they would have monolid eyes (often but not a requirement).
This headcannon is also based on the general skin tones we see from Tu'la (Michi and her brother, Leo, etc) as well as some Asian culture references we got from KC (I'm trying real hard to take her seriously). As soon as we finally see other Meif'wa who aren't KC (and Nekoette ofc), we see a variety of skin tones which lead towards tan. Unfortunately, Aph didn't give us many meifwa characters to make this headcannon very solid, but this is why I color KC to be tan. Not only does her color palette work better, but it makes more sense to me, especially when she spends so much time outside around Pheonix Drop.
I feel as though this is why Michi's plan to make Aph, Katelyn and Laurance Meif'wa worked so well. With 2/3 of them being more naturally tan it can help pass them off as actual Meif'wa to the uneducated werewolves. This is also why I think they were gravitated to choose Aph over Katelyn as the choice of bride. Katelyn, although beautiful, wouldn't match the meifwa standard and would stick out as taller and fair skinned. Plus she's Hella hostile and violent sooo
Also thought it would be fun to mimic the primordial pouch and loose skin cats have in my designs. There are always ranges of body types but I thought having a little extra body fat for a lot of meifwa makes sense!
