Flowers of peace

Flora once again had set out in search of new seeds to find flowers she could cross breed and make into new kinds of flowers for the city to enjoy. This journey for advancement in her research brought her to places all over the city, yet no new seeds appeared in the stocks recently so this led Flora to walk around pouting. Flora’s dream was to grown a legendary flower and provide new aspects to look at in the environment, but to do so she needed to continue her research since it was at a standstill. Though as she walked about the town every now and then she would spy an odd type of flower that would be sprouting out of the ground, she didn’t wish to pull it up, that would make someone mad. Though knowing she needed to research it she needed to find where they were popping up and there were any patterns to it.
Flora followed what she assumed to be a very spread out trail of the yellow flowers only to find that it lead nowhere at all and she was probably being stupid, you know the normal stuff. “Huh...guess i’ll just try and inspect it from here then.” Flora then moved closer to the flower and sat down taking out a pad and pencil where she started to sketch the flower and it’s makeup in great detail taking notes. “Maybe it’s a cross breed flower? If so then i can make i’d just need the components, it looks like a sunflower, by the stem and leafs say differently...what are you little buddy?” Flora asked the flower with a big smile on her face as she leaned forward inspecting the flower closer to try and get even more detail from it. “Come on...Flora here needs to know what you are so she can make you and cross breed you, doesn’t that sound fun?”
Flora then heard a sound as if someone was near her, and taking the moment too look around she found someone standing right there beside her, natural instinct to run kicked in...and did not end well. Upon the reaction Flora gave a slight shriek in fright throwing her pad and paper into the air soon realizing what she had done when both had landed in a nearby puddle of water. “Nooo! My notes...” Flora said in a disappointed voice puffing out her cheeks, then her vision returned to the person who was standing there. “Uh my bad...i didn’t see you standing there, kinda freaked out since you got so close with barley and sound.”
