A reason for everything

Leti had been going about her day like she usually would, cleaning up after others without being asked to do so she of course was very busy throughout the day because most people a reckless with their trash. Though upon her time in exploring and cleaning so that everywhere behind her was clean it was bound to be dirty when she came back the next day when she would come back through and repeat. Leti was beaming with happiness and did her best to cheer others up along the way giving them treats of ice cream and other sweets in between her bouts of cleaning. Though eventually Leti came upon a child traveling on their own, and it seemed that most seemed to be avoiding the child or at the very least ignoring their existence. So being the natural person Leti is she approached the child from behind and followed them for only a few moments before calling out to the in the only way she knew how.
“Excuse me child?” Leti asked in a light voice as to not scare the child though as she followed the child it became apparent that she was not getting her answer. “Um ok...Excuse me child where are you headed?” Leti asked in a bit louder voice, though it seemed she got almost no reaction besides a slight head turn, and now Leti was beginning to get a bit annoyed. It was not only what she assumed being ignored, but something about them also felt a bit off, Leti was on her guard the smile no longer on her face and a look more akin to confusion on her face. Now going to a bit more length to be noticed by the child she gave a gentle tap to the child's head then quickly backed up a bit as if to say she presented no threat to them. Leti then gave a big smile as the child turned her way finally noticing her, “Ah there we go i have been trying to get your attention for approximately...five minutes now, are you out here alone child?”
Leti asked not actually knowing what the child was or what they were capable of doing given the chance, yet she gave no hint she felt the odd feeling as a child was still a child in her mind no matter how troubled. Leti referred to them as a child because compared to her they appeared to be such, though she would refer to anyone younger than her as a child for specific reason of experiences. “I am Leti Hild what might your name be hum?” Leti asked now curious since she had the attention of the other she intended to make some kind of conversation happen if at all possible.
