Sitting in her apartment, whether her roommate was there or not, was relaxing. There was nothing much she had to do while she was here; no spirits to tame, no crooks to fight and no political conflicts to resolve. It was just… time for herself. But Korra had already spent three years alone, so space from people was the last thing she needed or wanted. In fact, the Avatar wanted to be part of the action again, otherwise she felt she might become rusty.
To brush the moss off of her shoulders, she waved her roommate goodbye and left the building once again to venture out into the world of Koi. She had already practiced her earthbending and airbending enough as she was in a concrete city, but there weren’t many places she could go to practice her firebending. Maybe a place with a fountain would be nice…
As she tried to rattle her brain for a place to go, she began scratching her chin. She reached out her hand and opened up her palm, watching a fire ignite in its center. While she thought, she didn’t watch where she was going and ended up bumping into a boy with green hair and pink eyes. Korra lifted her hand away from him, deciding to keep the fire aflame as a means of small mental training.
“Whoa! Sorry there. I didn’t see you coming.”
