Once abandoned from the Great Charizard Caldera as he was deemed “too weak” to grow and live amongst the others, as a lone wandering chameleon, Cinder eventually found Sage’s group and helps them form and strengthen the alliance of pokémon.
He doesn’t really like battling as much but he went through training anyway with his friends to help make him confident and find his power within as well as earning the ability to take to the skies whenever he wants. He’s very humble and always is the one who’s first to react to those who are in need of help. He assists with carrying his friends and food or materials; sometimes having the role to scope out the land from above. His friends like to sleep with him in his den and cuddle near his tail for warmth and to feel safe at night thanks to the flame of his tail acting as a campfire. He may often fly out far away whilst carrying some of the rather carnivorous members of the alliance with him to eat what they hunt out of respect for some of his other friends as he is still an apex predator of the pokémon world. Above all though, he really loves his roasted haban berries!
