You know the more I think about it. The more I understand Alastor's point about Vox, and extend that to the Vee's as a whole.

Like it's not unusual to have confidants and other sinners close to you as an overlord. Alastor tolerated Pentious, finding his egg bois amusing. He loved hanging with Mimzie which Husk saw as problematic. Carmilla and Zestiel have some sort of adorable relationship. Rosie leashed Alastor, Alastor leashed Husk. There are often deals involved, but not always.

One of the scenes that keeps replaying in my mind is the overlord meeting. I like Velvette, used to love her, but when she showed up as a "Representative of the Vee's" it struck as they are combined overlords, not overlords in their own right.

Husk and Nifty were overlords, and they had enough power to 1v1 individual Vees. Each had normal winner help, but they've lost their overlord status. Even if they have power, I don't think that means Power™️.

EXACTLY LIKE ALL OF THE VEES.

I'm supposed to watch these Gay Three Stooges get slapped around in each fight, and be scared of the when they don't all have the hutzpah to stand on their own even when together? Nah fam. They're capitalists trying to play as lords, and no matter how much money and social influence they have not a SINGLE sinner decided they were gonna help the Vee's, and they never called in ANY FUCKING CONTRACT. Because these greedy fucks don't see long term value, only short term.

Vox is as guilty as any of them. His pre hell life was a house of cards just like his hell life. Cults if personality always die, especially when the personality can't reach new people after. This absolute glitch thought he could razzle dazzle every other person into doing everything that he wanted, when he still needed TWO OTHER PEOPLE TO BE THREATENING OVERLORDS.

No other overlord is threatened by him, ever. Vox always just kinda glides on implied consequences, and when Alastor calls his bitch ass out, Vox crashes and makes an empire to burn to prove him right.

I think the Vee's are interesting characters. But the three of them together are an overlord. Not three overlords together
