Thinking about how the detectives literally could have just gone back in time and killed Mannix before he met Polly and that would have solved everything but instead they decided to emotionally manipulate the man into ruining his chance at a happy life so that decades later he would convince the younger version of himself to kill himself for the greater good (getting all of them killed in the process)

Anyway I need to talk about Bodies cus it's one of the best Netflix shows I've ever seen actually. Right:

Karl - I'm lowkey a Karl/Charles apologist icl. He was a messy bitch but he was 1 of the most interesting characters im sawryyyy. Classic East London representation right there innit! Lowkey wanna draw a thing of him and Esther's Inverness trip they were so adorableeee ahhh

Shahara - The main gyal! The way she pieced everything together i was rooting for her. Her leaving Elias in the car lowkey annoyed me but Elias was a messy messy boy so i won't blame her she did what she could. Her creating that whole organisation was iconic

Hillinghead - I was rooting for him and Henry. Mannix being like 'I can excuse you being gay but interferring with my cult is where I draw the line' had me yellingggg like Hillinghead was done so dirty but the ending almost makes up for it... almost!

Iris - Deadpan queen. Icl when she [redacted] [redacted] I didn't know how i felt about her but tbf he did say there was no free will. Her jumping into the Throat to stop Mannix, bad bitch things! I have multiple theories about why she was in the taxi but I'll save that for another post

Honourable mentions:

Polly - I saw Synnøve Karlsen in the intro credits and I was so gassed cus I'm rewatching Clique rn and I paused series 2 to watch Bodies and it took me so long to clock it was her cus she was English. lmaoo Holly McStay still doing wild things I see!

Mannix - Menace to societyyyy. Like he was really suffering from a prison of his own making. Yeah this guy needs his own post cus wow he's one of the most scary villiains I've seen in a while.

Defoe - Icl I liked him. Quirky scientist boy. His free will speech gave a me a mini existential crisis but it was cool asf.

Basically I just needed something to watch whilst I did my hair and I little did I know I'd go this journey loooool
