During a dragon hunters vs. dragon riders confrontation.

Hiccup (being sassy): There's less of you today. Where's Lars? Finally deserted.

Viggo: I'll have to apologise for his absence, my dear Hiccup. He had recently pass away. Struck by lightning while he was at the crow's nest.

Dragon riders:... *burst into laughter.

Tuffnut: Nice one Viggo!

Snotlout: But no one dies from a lightning strike.

Dragon hunters:...

Snotlout: Wait! You're being serious?

Fishlegs: People actually die from lightning strikes?

Ryker: Why wouldn't they?

Dragon riders:...

Viggo: Hiccup, please tell me your friends are only joking.

Hiccup: Well, none of us died from lightning strikes.

Tuffnut: Which means you are lying.

Ruufnut: You'll need to come up with a better lie, pal.

Viggo: (turning to Astrid) please tell me you have some common sense to know people die from lightning strikes.

Astrid: As we said. None of us died from lightning strikes.

Dragon hunters: (finally realising they were dealing with freaks of nature.)

I headcanon that each dragon rider's got struck by lightning at least once. And don't seem to know people actually die from it.

Hey guys I’m not dead. Sorry I’ve not been super active :/

Anyways, Cyber Chicken Showdown won best game design out of the 15 games that were made at my college this year! We plan on remaking it so it can actually be released and played so I’m excited for that! We also have a lot of ideas that we can’t wait to begin working on.

Off of the top of my head, the answer for me is Bugsnax. It is such a silly game and perfect to play with a friend even though it’s a single player game. The characters and the plot are genuinely so silly and you never know what’s going to happen next. It’s such a good game, I love it so so much 🥹💕

Whumpee is kidnapped by whumper, who takes them to a house in the middle of nowhere and does absolutely horrid things to them for two or three days straight. Then they drop whumpee back somewhere in town and leave them. That's it. No rescue. Nothing. Whumpee doesn't know who whumper is or where they live. Maybe they were kept blindfolded and don't even know whumper's face.

They manage their way back home, some friends they chat with everyday are really worried, some didn't even note they were gone. Their boss is just angry they missed work. And whumpee doesn't know how to proceed. Should they tell everyone, so they can fuss over them? Should they make everyone worried and scared? What good would it do, when there's probably nothing anyone can do? They're already fine, aren't they? Was it even that bad? Did it even happen?

Why does part of them wish it had been worse?

whumpee is too weak to talk, but caretaker knows them well enough to interpret all their noises/gestures/expressions.

when whumpee twitches their fingers, caretaker knows that means they want their hand held.

when whumpee’s brow creases and they whimper, caretaker knows that means their head is hurting.

when whumpee soundlessly moves their lips, caretaker knows the’re saying i love you.

when whumpee gets restless and squirms a little, caretaker knows they want to adjust their position.

when whumpee curls towards caretaker, caretaker knows they want to be held.

when whumpee’s breathing gets thin and labored, caretaker knows to help them sit up so they can breathe easier.

when whumpee opens and closes their mouth, caretaker knows that means they’re thirsty.

and when whumpee squeezes caretaker’s hand, caretaker knows that means stay with me. please don’t go.
