So this was my freshman-year college dorm.

(It’s condos now. At one time in the 2000s a condo in this building was The Most Expensive Real Estate in Boston, going by cost per square foot)

My room had a view of Boston’s famous Citgo sign, and when the windows were open you could hear the cheers from Fenway Park. It was a five minute walk to Nuggets records and the famous Rat (Rathskellar) nightclub, which had the worst bathroom in the world. I saw the Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black at the Rat.

If you count 1, 2, 3 green bits starting in the front left (beside the turret-shaped bit on the near corner), then count down 1, 2, 3 big windows, that was my room.

woke up and found out that there was a bomb planted on charlesgate.....my street...what if that had gone off? its a scary crazy life right outside my doors this week.
