Which Astrological aspects / positions can make someone extremely funny ? Someone who has great talent for mimic, who has different styles of pronunciation ?
Honestly it depends on the type of humour you’re looking for. I’m not familiar with comedians, stand-up ones specifically, so my examples are more general.
Humour through body motions, facial expressions:
Marcel Marceau
Gemini Ascendant, Moon very close to the Ascendant, almost conjunct.
Charlie Chaplin
Moon conjunct Ascendant
Rowan Atkinson and Jim Carrey - both have Moon in Gemini.
Jim Carrey has Mercury conjunct Jupiter - abilityfor verbal exaggeration, dramaticism. Ascendant conjunct Neptune - ability for change, accepting other identities.
As you can see with them, there is a prominent Gemini placement - the twins, which I think is a good way of showing the duality of a character, separating the role and the actor, the variety of expressions, the variety of identities they are able to express. Moon conjunct Ascendant can also give someone the ability to be very expressive with their face and eyes, especially.
Louis CK, Jimmy Carr - both are known for their dark humour. Neither has public time of birth, but both of their planets are in Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, which I think are the signs with the typical dry, but very smart and always on time type of humour, especially Virgo and Scorpio. They can be very inconsiderate with their jokes imo. Also a directly mean type of humour. I’d put sarcasm in that category too. Mercury in Scorpio, Virgo. Mercury-Pluto aspects can have ome dark and disturbing jokes.
Others aspects I’d associate with dark humour are Pluto in 5th or Scorpio as a ruler of the 5th. The first one definitely. Finding entertainment in disturbing topics and themes, which I can associate with also having dark humour. Shane Dawson is an example.
Then comes the boastful type of humour, I don’t even know if it has a proper name - making fun of yourself, your ego and pride through jokes which can come off as self-absorbed. I honestly hope you understand what I’m talking about. But I associate it with Leo Mercury, Jupiter in 1st/3rd, Jupiter conjunct Mercury, Sun conjunct Jupiter, Leo on the 5th House cusp.
General humour: ruler of 5th in 1st/3rd, I can see them being the type of person who lives their life with humour, finds fun in everything, dramatic with their speech or expressions. Mercury in Gemini are generally very quick-witted, it’s just a part of who they are, they know how to play with words.
