Meet Mr Parlanchin! Courtesy of some very close friends, we were gifted Mr Parlanchin who was saved from near death! He was a little worse for wear when we got him, but over last week Steve has worked wonders to get the mechanisms working again, as well as giving him a little spruce up. Just for u here’s a bit I had in mind

That Gregory is hanging out with Sun one night, and just like is poking his grubby little hands at Sun’s face going “Why did they make you so creepy? If you could move your face it would b a little better.”

And like Sun and Moon do agree, but rude kid. Anyway Gregory once he realizes that they /would/ like improvements, that they know their personality (when not virus ridden) is pretty good at keeping the kids entertained but they could be so much better with kids if they could just /emote/ dangit (I still am a firm believer the animatronics do honestly love kids and love their jobs), he just whips out the paper and pencils and is like “okay let’s come up with some design ideas”.

And Sun is all for it because it’s fun to color, of course it is, even though he’s not taking it serious as an upgrade option. They use it as a sort of...wish list exercise. Gregory is insistent Moon gets a chance to do so as well, going into the nap area or otherwise to continue their little game so they can change.

And Gregory the gremlin he is shows Moon his own idea for a face plate upgrade, that allows Moon to change the phase of the moon displayed. And Moon looks at it silently, twitching now and then because he can’t just /say/ what he thinks, but Gregory’s got his back. “I verbally agree to waive any responsibility from Fazbear entertainment for the remarks you make about this art.” “You sneakly little gremlin I hate that I love it.” However mild the insult, Sun is Offended that Moon resorted to name calling.

The reason Moon hates it is because he can see how it would be implemented, tied to the emotional range. Full moon for happier emotions, new moon for darker ones. The default still is the crescent and he can control it somewhat, but it’s basically putting his heart on his sleeve like Sun does with his rays and he hates the idea of it but he really likes the idea of the moon phases.

(Anyway Gregory manages to convince Sun to bring it up to his technicians next maintenance day, which sets off a chain reaction of “holy shit we created life how do we deal” from the technicians and stressing poor Sun out who thinks he messed things up. Spoilers he did not.)
