You exchanged roles for the drawing and coloring ?

we have a winner! yes, the reason the art looks different is that we made it differently.

normally it goes like this.

minty:

sketch

character cel shading

word balloons/sound effects

blood

occasional extra lighting effects (like the light from souls)

eruto:

lineart

character colour blocking

background (lines/colour)

to simplify, usually minty will hand me something like this:

which i’ll turn into this:

and then she adds the finishing touches:

but for the halloween art, we swapped. that’s why the characters look a bit different – they were sketched kind of in my style. we’re both not used to the roles we usually don’t fill, so i think it turned out pretty okay all things considered!
