Shells of Metal and Mud

In an effort to recruit more members of the Circus of Apathy, the three founding members, with assistance from Team Galactic, decide to search within the very Server that Nobodies originate from; specifically, within the Underworld of Greece. Meanwhile the Teen Squad are testing their skills in an unofficial tournament up in Olympus Colosseum.

The most promising recruits the Circus find are two souls (or rather, one rotting mudball of a soul and a horrific amalgamation of stolen memories that's just barely magically potent enough to pass as one) locked deep within the bowels of Tartarus, ones wretched enough that even Hades and Maleficent wouldn't think to try using them. But, this is the Joker we're talking about, emotions or no emotions.

Once they've got the souls and have identified them, they get to work on Vessels for their Minds and Spirits to inhabit (though not the Hearts, obviously). The first gets a blank Replica, while the second gets a Worker Drone body, both of which are created by Charon (for the record, the Team Galactic members they have aren't Nobodies...yet). The Replica becomes one Philip "Belos" Wittebane, while the Drone becomes the newest host of the Core of the Newtopian Empire, with enough of an imprint from its previous host to retain the Darcy persona.

Due largely to a lack of alternatives (and in Belos's case a belief that them resurrecting him was a gift from God), the two begrudgingly agree to join the Circus, taking on the names Sobexl ("so-bezel") and Roxec ("Roz-eck"). Though, Sobexl is a bit salty that they didn't use his birth name for it and Roxec still calls itself Darcy (the others aren't to fussed by this since Darcy didn't actually have a Heart in the first place and is thus an automaton rather than a Nobody).

Sobexl's Replica body has the shapeshifting, corrupting and parasitic abilities of Belos's old one (due to the Rot that caused it infecting his very Soul), but thanks to being powered by Infinity Energy from the Pokemon world is self-sustaining and will only start deteriorating him if he pushes it too hard. And it would take a lot to push it too hard.

Darcy meanwhile uses its vast knowledge and the help of Charon to customize its new body, loading it with weapons and features cherry-picked from the vast arsenal created by Old Amphibia and the more recent Calamity War and Frogvasion, with some extras based on amphibian Pokemon mixed in.

And, of course, the Circus decides to give the two a test run by having them attack the Colosseum.
