Since Charley and Kasumi are going away (not sure if for forever, but at the moment, I’m not sure if Charley would be able to move on from Thane), this will have to be the last meme with them for some time. They ARE fun though. XD

3: Who walks around the house half-naked and who yells at them to put on some clothes?

Kasumi likes to be comfy when she is at home and if that means less clothes, then so be it. Charley, however, gets distracted by the sight of her girlfriend’s legs and can’t do anything when she’s dressed like that.

4: Which one tells the other not to stay up all night and which one stays up all night anyway?

Kasumi warns Charley not to spend so much time working on things and to get some rest. Sleep is what she needs to get through life. Charley was never one to take advice.

7: Which one constantly wears the other’s clothes?

Kasumi loves the feeling of Charley’s large shirts on her skin. They also smell like the Commander and are always oddly warm.

11: If they were about to rob a museum, which one does backflips through lasers and which one is strolling behind with a bag of chips?

Is this even a question? Kasumi is the thief here. She’d get in and out without being detected. Charley is a soldier. She runs into things when they are in her way.

10. Who remembers what the other one always orders at a restaurant?

Kasumi is always takes note of things that Charley does. If she knows that her gf likes something or that it makes her happy, she does her best to keep it in mind. Whenever they get the chance to sneak away, it always makes Charley smile to see Kasumi trying to take the stress from her shoulders by doing little things like that.

21. Who is more likely to start dancing with the other?

Kasumi gets Charley to dance. Charley takes too much too seriously and Kasumi makes her see the fun that is still had despite the war. Charley loves dancing, especially with Kasumi.

Kasumi doesn’t like it when Charley leaves her on the Normandy to go get into trouble. She worries the entire time Charley is away because the Commander usually gets herself into some kind of trouble.

5. Who is most likely to carry the other?

Charley is a big soldier lady so she carries her tiny thief wife all of the time.

12. Who initiates kisses?

Both. Charley loves kissing Kasumi and the thief loves doing the same. <3

14. Who kisses the hardest?

Charley. She hasn’t had many relationships where she is actually in love with her partner (Thane and Kasumi were the only ones) so she kisses as if she’ll never kiss again.

29. one headcanon about this OTP that breaks your heart

Charley is always terrified of losing Kasumi (she lost Thane and it broke her for a long time.) Just the thought of the love of her life dying leaves her frozen in fear. The idea of anything actually happening to Kasumi would destroy Charley.

15. Seeking Solace - Charley and Kasumi

The pain was unbearable. It was searing, like a fire that burned her skin and wouldn’t die out. Chakwas was working her medical magic, doing everything and anything she could to help the Commander feel better. There was only one person who could make the pain go away and she wasn’t here.

Garrus stood on the opposite side of the room, a look of desperation crossing his face. Charley didn’t like that. She had given him strict orders when they’d landed on Earth: Get Kasumi out.

“Damn it, Vakarian.” She gasped out, her near black eyes meeting his gaze. A sharp pain throbbed in her side, the very place she’d taken part of Harbinger’s laser. Tears filled her eyes at the sensation, a feeling that she would never get used to.

Garrus shook his head, the signal she didn’t want to see. Leaning her head back onto the soft pillow, her eyes closed to the chaos around her.

She shouldn’t have survived, but somehow the universe had decided she would live to fight another day. But if she didn’t have Kasumi by her side, what was her life worth? Her only solace was that her wounds could still kill her.

The tears were a product of the pain, she told herself. It was a lot of fucking pain. Biting her lip, Charley stopped the sobs that wanted to leave her. She wouldn’t cry.

Good luck, Shep. If we live through this, I’m never leaving your side again.

Usually the silence bothered her. After the chaos of her life, no noise and she felt uncomfortable. Things were changing for Charley Shepard. Somehow, over the last year, the night wasn’t so scary. The stars didn’t remind her of death. She was afraid of the silence.

Charley’s dark eyes found the mop of ebony hair sprawled across the pillow beside her. A smile lit her scarred face, the first real smile she’d managed in a very long time. When she had first met Kasumi, she thought little of her past being a squadmate, a person who would help her defeat the Collectors. To both of their surprise, their relationship blossomed into something more.

Running her fingers through Kasumi’s silky hair, she finally felt at peace. Even with war on the horizon, Kasumi’s presence had a calming effect on Charley’s fiery soul. She prayed it would last. Without Kasumi, she didn’t think she could win this war.
