"Hey, guys... we're friends, right?" "Worse. We're family."
Have some casual versions of the half-elves!

Not a scene from the books but I was thinking about how a village might discover, at first light, their charter stone has been broken and how troubling that would be. I can image a deathly silence as one lone villager, perhaps a charter mage, walks towards the stone while a small group gather and watch nervously at the edge of the marsh.
With a B.A.Hons in graphic arts and illustration I enjoy bringing characters and environments to life from my imagination. My inspiration come from books, folk tales, songs and music. I love painting mostly in watercolour and digital painting. When painting this I didn't make the connection to Ariel but now it's finished I can see it... and I like it!
Recently I had the opportunity to commission the amazing @chartermagic for a piece of my character Hieran, a friend of some of the main characters in a story I’ve been working on (she’s an herbalist/healer placed half as a spy, working to keep her friends safe and to gain what information they all can about a conflict to come and the magic that may underlie it all).
Thank you to @chartermagic for creating such a beautiful piece! She captured Hieran’s personality so well through her expression and posture, and I absolutely adore the colors and the details of the outfit! She is an amazing artist and truly wonderful to work with - it has been a real pleasure to commission this character (and especially to receive the results!)
I would definitely recommend checking out her work (especially if you are a fan of Garth Nix’s The Old Kingdom series)!!
