Charlies Trousers? . Well its Charters Towers and hot damn does it have some history. . We parked #jessiejurgens up at @big4charterstowers on Friday afternoon and headed straight into town to have a birthday dinner for Joel. . Saturday was out to the Texas Longhorn Tours. We made a separate post all about (On Facebook) as it was that good. The rest of the afternoon was spent booking into some other attractions then chilling around the beautiful pool at the CP. . Sunday was all about learning some history. Making our way off to the @venusbattery for an exceptionally informative tour which was aided by some very clever displays. After lunch it was into the QAS Historic Ambulance Museum, filled with great examples and well-preserved records which the lads took a liking to a particular entry: "Presented after being hit with a protractor". On way back to the CP we detoured down to the weir for quick sticky beak. . As Charters Towers is a short drive from us we thought it be best to keep some of the other goodies for another Adventure but if your local or going to pass by jump onto the @visitcharterstowers page and set yourself up for an Adventure. .
