This might seem a bit random but I’d like to address a few things abt chartingthevoidstar.

1. Dates were added because the arg takes place over five (fictional) years and I wanted to make following the timeline easier

2. This arg is going to handle some very serious and heavy topics. Its characters are going to be complex and multifaceted, no one is 100% innocent and no one’s really 100% in the wrong. Any posts @reverseaspx makes specifically are NOT my morals and are instead to show his character as a mentally ill teenager on the internet

3. Raspx and Aspx are both black. I made this obvious through the official art but I wanted to make a post explicitly stating it because I know some weirdos are going to try and whitewash them or say it’s “up to interpretation.” It’s not, they’re black! I highly doubt this arg gets fanart anyway since it’s not that popular (yet, hah) but I want to get this out of the way earlier to hopefully deter the weirdos.

Huh. You know, reading about the voidstar has brought to my attention the fact a void religion exists. It’s called voidism, and it actually seems pretty normal! You guys know how spawnism is also a normal religion besides the freaky “live in the woods” cult? Kinda like that.

What do you guys think? Should I try to find some voidists to ask some questions? I’m a little interested in their ideology. It seems pretty straightforward on a surface glance actually, all about equality.

Hello, I am a 19 year old student at RoUniversity, I have history as my major and mythology as a minor. Recently my professor gave us a project and I’d like to let all of you participate with me.

For our project he had us pick one ancient myth to research and prepare a presentation on, and because I just love creating extra work for myself I chose one of the hardest myths to trace, the voidstar. There’s very few written records about the voidstar and most of the recent stories of it are veiled in rumor and half truths.

So I’m wondering, are there any other historians on this site? Possibly any other college students with a similar major? Or maybe anyone with good ideas on where to start? I know a lot of people who are in those spaces where they talk about old hacker and exploiters have overlap with myth spaces. I’d be interested to hear your feedback!

I think I’m going to start with older records of the voidstar’s appearances. Let me know any suggestions you have!
