like a moth to a flame
teeny tiny bit worried i went a bit intense with the gore here so i am putting it under the read more in case people are a bit squeamish lol
i've been wanting to do a chas horror themed art for a while and so spent yesterday throwing everything and the kitchen sink at this pfft
heavily inspired by the amazing horror artworks of chas by the brilliant @thewolfatno9 & @80aidy80 (links here, here & here! please go check them out they're all great!)
the last weekend -> the last(probably...............) edits
similar to my to have and to hold edits i wanted to follow the 5 stages of grief frames shown in the ep!
The Last Weekend (Inside No 9)/Landslide - Fleetwood Mac
rewatching inside no 9 and going feral at them slowly drip feeding us information, the twist glaringly obvious on the second watch, so we're screaming at the characters that they're not safe. they were never safe. this was always going to end this way.
i really noticed this when i watched The Last Weekend, because of Joe never saying 'i love you' back, Mollie saying "Joe's cancer doesn't exist," Joe saying "I wanted to pay you back" and "You deserve it" and "You don't know what anger is, true fucking anger that drives you absolutely insane"
this is such a well written show and i am so normal about it
FINALLY got round to a couple of request doodles!! maureen and a happy chas <3
this was technically for @thelastweekendd
we have a lot of incoherent thoughts
especially about stella and chas siblings
er skibidi this also is my fav drawing i’ve ever done of stella
rip chas gregory. you would have loved stella hull (and probably charlie, too.)
