Just played Dead Take. I think it was amazing. All actors and actresses were amazing.
Loved the puzzles and the dark story. We know film industry is very bad...
So.. also. Is it what I think is implied in the Mouse room? That happened to Vinny? 😭 that was his "gift"? 😭
Because it is written on the wall "i begged them to stop" and the bed and the stuff with UV...
"Do you know how important this is?"
"I think you do. You wouldn't be here if you didn't."
"Do you know how many men would kill to be where you are? Where you stand?"
"People would kill for this."
"Do you understand?"
I only have one complaint about Dead Take, and it's that they put Chase/Neil in a corseted waistcoat and he seemed to have no idea what to do with it.
That's not how you wear those, sir.
Things I did not enjoy rendering: stubble
Things I did enjoy rendering: Neil’s lovely little fang
Bonus: eyes open
One of those posts.
Play Dead Take 🙏
Happy Birthday, Vinny and Chase!
In an ideal world, I would have fully finished this fic in time, but alas, capitalism. Instead, have a sneak peek:
What's Haunting You, Marion? by Missing Triforce
I don’t breathe a sigh of relief, as that would be a dead giveaway.
“You can go ahead, Marion,” says Ted, the security guard, pointing with his thumb over his shoulder. “All good.”
Hefting up my bucket of cleaning supplies, I step out of line and join my gaggle of new co-workers by the driveway gate. There was a 51% chance I’d be caught just then. You put in all the work and electronic fiddling to create a false identity as "Marion Garcia," enough layers to pass background check muster, and it can all go to shit if a human being says, “You’re fired because I don’t like the look of your face.” Freelance employment sucks like that.
I would have minded, if it failed. This case isn’t one I want to miss. Private investigators mostly do missing persons, but this one the persons involved were already dead, and there was a 32% chance the house was haunted by their ghosts.

Many thanks to @ryttu3k and the Dead Take Discord server for hosting the challenge! The kickoff post is here.
If you're interested, below is an outline of the main plot beats. Major game spoilers ahoy!
("Man idek he seemed so nice and normal in his audition tape where he was saying he would do anything, anything for the role...")
