Last home game of the season!
This is a long post..
I think I can safely say that I’ve never wanted to kiss someone before. Until Friday, that is. The marching band played at the last home game of the season on Friday. BSU vs. Air Force, and it was forecasted to be pretty chilly. We were getting into our uniforms before the tailgate parade, and Joe hands me a hand warmer, saying “Here, take this.” :) I ended up giving it back because I felt like I’d be okay. He ended up with two and James had one. I always stand by Joe at the games. The only time I didn’t was at BYU when I stood by Chasz. Throughout the game, I had Joe hold my hand, and then the other, to keep them warm. It would be as if we were having a thumb war, without the war, or I would make a fist and put my fingers against his palm, where the hand warmers were, inside his gloves. Of course, crazy talk happens during the game. Rachel and I were going on about making a movie where Joe is a superhero, and Chasz is the super villain (CHA$Z MONAAAY) and James would be the sidekick. At one point, Rachel saw Joe holding my hand, and exclaimed “And Rhiannon will be the love interest and get captured by Chasz!” We of course laughed. James stands in front of me and Joe. James also had a hand warmer, so I put my hand against his hand warmer as well, and all of a sudden he kissed the back of my hand and it was hilarious. I retracted my hand immediately, and put on a shocked face, but laughed all the while. Later, Joe and I were thumb warring without the war part and James gets excited because he can kiss both of our hands at the same time! He does, and I open my eyes real wide and just stare at Joe, and he stared back with the same wide eyed look. It was so funny, and Rachel was dying from laughter. Still holding his hand, I looked at Joe’s lips for half a second and just felt like I wanted to kiss him. Like I have any idea what that’s even like. Joe then laughs and says “here, then we do this!” and he extends his thumb and I follow suit, and then jokingly reaches over as if to poke James in the eyes. Lots of laughter ensued.
Joe is literally the best.
JAMES! So Rachel and I see Joe with this one girl all the time. Apparently her name is Stephanie (I’m not sure if it’s just normal spelling or not...). Rachel and I have been wondering and assuming that it’s probably his girlfriend or something of the sort. We mentioned that to James once, and he told us he’s pretty sure he isn’t interested in her like that. So that’s weird. :) James is really great, and a real sweetheart.
This is long. Sorry.
When you see someone and you have to catch your breath before it has a chance to get lost.
I saw MattnotRyan walking into symphonic winds. I saw Ben sitting in the testing room. I desperately wanted to tell him to have a good trip to Reno, but I smiled and waved and that was all. I saw Joe walking down the sidewalk by my bus stop. He stopped and said hello even! Ben was wearing his cowboy boots and no hat! His hair looked great and I wanted to mention it to him. Joe’s haircut is alright.
Chasz and I are such good friends and it’s bad. We are way too hilarious. We always are slightly rambunctious and are generally always laughing. We sit by each other in concert class and always stand by each other in clarinet studio. We’re like a deadly combination of folk. haha
I always get so caught up in the euphoria of math. I end up holding my pencil so tightly that my hand cramps a little and I end up with a serious dent in my second finger. Mostly in during tests do I get all worked up about math. When I’m doing homework or just in class, I don’t get so crazy because there are breaks and distractions. In a test setting there is nothing else going on, so I go a little crazy. I use the word euphoria because I love math. Math tests are always fun because I know what I’m doing, and I love a little bit a of a challenge of something I already know how to do. I kept looking over at Ben, because I sat by him. I let my friend AaronBassoon borrow a pencil, so when I finished, I waited around out in the hallway for him to finish so I could get my pencil back. I was hoping that Ben would come out before AaronBassoon so I could say hi to him and chat with him and wish him a good trip to Reno. I just wanted to hear his voice I guess. However, AaronBassoon waltzed out before Ben.
Because I left then, I did get to see Joe, though. so I guess it was worth it.
I felt like my math test went well. I also had an ear-training test. It also went well. I think seeing someone and not saying anything to them makes you miss them even more than you would without seeing them. Example being see Ben today. I wish I could have talked to him.
Clarinet Family...
Chasz is like my brother. Almost. We aren’t quite that close, but after the band trip, maybe. We spent almost the entire time together. I sat by him on the bus rides, we ate all our meals together, we stood by each other in the stands at the BYU game. Plus during school I always sit by him in concert class. He’s either getting tired of me, or we’re becoming best friends. Jennifer apparently predicted that we’d totally hit it off and get along super well. Good work Jenn! We’re best friends.
(Letter/Reply) Chaszmyre Duskewind
The intended may, or may not, find it strange that a crow would carry the missive winging to her.
Ms. Duskewind,
I was most pleased to find your note amidst others in the post as we pulled into port. Yes, I am currently out to sea but, am seeing to business matters as quickly as I am able to.
I plan to be back to work at the Registry in the next couple of days and will begin to immediately search for the records you need. I've heard of the man you mentioned though I had no dealings with him myself. I would like to caution you, I am not a barrister nor properly trained in legal matters however, I have sought a meeting with someone who is and he may be able to help in this matter as well.
In regards to the other matter, of course I would be most happy to listen to anything you wish to discuss. In fact, I look forward to it. My schedule is full for Friday and Saturday morning but, perhaps in the afternoon on Saturday, if you are free, we could meet? I am most often found in the Registry though I could come to you if you feel more secure in that? Let me know your schedule or a day and time you have in mind. I'll do my best to accommodate your needs.
There is no need for formality between us any longer so, please, call me Riesse.
With regards.
