If France served in this fictional ESC...

The (insert obscure but tuneful genre here) duo, Le Cinique Errant, has been confirmed to represent France at this year's Eurovision Song Contest with their song "[Insert double entendre title with cannibalistic allusions here]"!

@wisteriasymphony don't ask me why Claudia would even get herself into this situation lol (I genuinely haven't thought that far XD)

Anyway (most) of this year's esc was great (except for the near heart attack with the televotes), and I got a little obsessed, so I made a Claudrien au like for the most things I get obsessed with.

Chat Errant:

A Chloe AU. In this AU, Chloe grew up with her own personal fascination with punk fashion. But due to trauma with her Mom she soon tried to drown out that love for it.

Unfortunately, due to that her bubbled love for punk fashion created a split personality of her named, funnily enough, Clarice. One side is the girl we know her in canon, the other is a timid more friendly and less self confident version of her. Clarice is taller (due to wearing high top boots usually) and wears more darker and outlandish clothes. She stands out as a tall and intimidating figure who people can’t help but notice.

In the story proper, Chloe as Clarice walked along the streets where she sees an old man in distress. She then goes to that old man’s aid, once she’s sure he’s fine she leaves to change her clothes and go back to being Chloe.

When the stone heart event happens, she finds the cat miraculous and after a minute transforms into the hero Chat Errant (Stray Cat). However, when she becomes the Chat Errant the Clarice personality is the one that is in complete control. Which upsets the attention hungry Chloe and the very timid Clarice.

As Chat Errant, her hero work can be described as watching a kitten doing its best at the tasks. Most of Paris’s citizens view her as being so precious that they can’t help but inwardly cheer her on to succeed. One of her main skills (detriments) is her bad luck. Specifically, it’s her bad luck that always gets her in the middle of troubling situations. Wether it’s having attacks mainly target her, or usually being the first one targeted by akuma wether she intends for it or not. her most useful skills however is her ability to get out of troubling situations. She is surprisingly very agile & is quick on her feet making it easy for her to avoid most attacks coming her way and even being able to make quick escapes from bad situations by herself or when carrying others.

Notes:

Ladybug and Chat Errant:

- for ladybug, when she met Errant she was intimidated by the tall and scary looking new partner she had. But, as time moved on she grew to have a more protective view of her. Errant is basically a big soft cat who tries her best in Ladybugs eyes. Ladybug basically does her best to ensure Errant doesn’t get too hurt as they fight akumatized villains.

Sadly, it doesn’t help when 95% of their plans involve Errant being bait. Even when they try to come up with a different plan, Chat Errant’s bad luck usually ends with her being bait.

Chat Errant: Partners

At the start of their partnership, with Errant's height and intimidating presence Ladybug was more tense and slightly scared of her new partner. Errant on the other hand was never good with people in the first place so it made it hard to interact with Ladybug.

After working with each other of so long Ladybug soon learned more of Errant's personality. She soon grew an attachment to the shy girl, like a big sister to a little one (or in some cases, a very protective pet owner). Always ready to protect Errant and is willing to protect her as best as possible when stopping akumas. Which sucks when most plans end up using the cat hero as bait. (no matter how badly she tries to keep Errant out of danger)
