Luckily Roseville wasn’t too far from Gallagher’s campus. The bus ride itself danced around the half hour mark, and save for a few bumps in the road it was a relatively smooth drive. Asher and Regine didn’t talk most of the way there, which was kind of their style sometimes. Asher sat in the window seat and Regine, with her head in her phone looking up the price of a very rare gold butterfly knife from Switzerland on a black market website, had one leg up on the seat and her back leaning against Asher’s shoulder for support. The bus came to a halt and as it parked it rumbled, causing everyone’s bodies to jolt slightly with the motion. Regine lifted her head up so that it fell on Asher’s shoulder, “Guess we’re here.” she groaned, shooting up and giving him a playful slap on his arm to signal getting off the bus and entering Roseville. “Preference on our first stop?” she said as they walked down the aisle.
