Silvester 2017 & New Year 2018
Nice to spend the last day of the year in other way and in other place than usual. Especially when in mountains. This year it was “Brnčalka” >>> Cottage at Green Lake (Chata pri Zelenom plese) in High Tatras with my Father.
In love with the family atmosphere of these kind of cottages. Really tasty food, nice happy people and there was also a funny competition in sledging on frozen snow. After midnight I found small hill behind the cottage and there I had been staring to a beautiful night sky and mountains strongly lightened by the moon. The mountains there looked like they were so close I could almost touch them. With the heavy fog still changing and dancing around it was the best television program ever! I was standing, shaking from cold but did not want to leave such a view. But then I realised I cannot have everything and it is ok to leave. Cause I will have the strong reason to return to such places over and over. And in this way I will always appreciate more their tremendous grandiosity and magnitude.
