with the recent update of my namivivi wedding smau, I thought to myself, "okay... but which ship WOULD have a traditional wedding and what would it look like??". so now im gonna share my fave op ships and my headcanons when it comes to their weddings/marriages
namivivi: obviously would have a traditional wedding, but mostly because of vivi's family and their wants for her. namivivi would go along with it, but honestly,,, the two of them would 100% get married in private and not really tell anyone. the wedding ceremony is just for show and to please everyone (they dont tell people about their actual wedding anniversary date until years later)
zolu: wouldnt have a traditional wedding nor would they get a wedding officiant to do it privately. they would just get rings and say they're married. would definitely throw a huge party, but wouldnt necessarily call it a wedding. it's just a party with food, alcohol, and friends. something they're used to
sanuso: they would have a small wedding, probably in someone's backyard. but they would be engaged for several years before following through with it. simply because usopp is, like, scared that sanji's feelings for him will change and that sanji might regret marrying usopp. a terrible case of anxiety and low self-esteem, which we're all victims of. sanji is definitely hurt bc of this (who wouldnt be), but he doesnt berate or put usopp down for it. if anything, he accepts it and waits. because he loves usopp and nothing about that will ever change
frobin: they're engaged forever and dont have any plans to get officially married. they're super cool with it
