So, I'm still new to my craft, I've only done small blessings of personal objects, fortune spells and some protection spells. The reason I mention this is because I think there is a malicious spirit at my work place. I've worked there for nearly three years and every year some time before Lent one of my co-workers will get seriously injured, everyone else will get twisted ankles or sprained wrists. (1/2)
“(2/2 Sorry ran out of space before) There's a lot of negativity at work and I think the spirit feeds off of it. I would love any advice or ideas on how to deal with it! Thank you very much and I hope you have a good day! “
Hey there! So...I don’t know how involved or witchy you want to get/are able to at your workplace, so I’ll try and keep this...subtle.
The other thing that I’ll make an assumption of is that you’re at vaguely connected to Christianity/Catholicism as you’re connecting the timing of this to Lent. With that said, there a few options for Christian based magic and protections that may help.
Holy water, simple enough, but sprinkling it around the property or cardinal points may be helpful. If that’s too obvious, smear some at the entrances of the building as you enter/exit.
Petition saints by lighting candles, burning incense, or participating in Lent by giving something up, or doing something good regularly for others as the form of “payment”. It may be helpful to print out any/all the saints you chose as saint cards to keep on you or in the building.
St. Agricola of Avignon: Patron saint of bubonic plague and Misfortune
St. Agrippina of Mineo: Patron saint against evil spirits, leprosy, thunderstorms, and bacterial diseases and infections.
St. Deodatus of Never: Patron saint against thunderstorm, evil spirits, and plague.
St. Jude Thaddaeus (Apostle): Patron saint of lost causes, and desperate situations.
St. Julia of Corsica: Patron saint of pathologies of the hands and feet.
St. Mammes: protective of those who’ve suffered from broken bones and hernias
St. Servatius: Patron saint invoked against foot trouble, lameness, rheumatism, rats and mice.
If you’re Christian...adjacent as many witches are and refuse to admit, might I suggest calling on some of the witches tried, executed or excommunicated by the church and even utilizing some of their charms based in liturgy and teachings that subsequently were used as evidence against them.
Namely the Pendle witches and the trials some 400 odd years ago:
A Charme against bewitchment
Three Biters hast thou bitten,
The Hart, ill Eye, ill Tonge:
Three bitter shall be thy Boote,
Father, Sonne, and Holy Ghost
a Gods name,
Fiue Pater-nosters, fiue Auies,
and a Creede,
In worship of fiue wounds
of our Lord.
(In modern language the last part would read: five Pater-Nosters, five Ave Marias, and a Creed, in the worship of the five wounds of our Lord—the cunning folk would then say these prayers while contemplating the five wounds of Christ.)

Lastly, with the timing of Easter being April 21st, you could call upon St. Walpurga, who has a connection to witches and pagans as having learned from the pagans of Germany and England through her travels and missionary work. Her feast day is Walpurgisnacht, or Hexennacht (The Night of the Witches) April 30th, the eve of Beltane/May Day. She was then blended with the Germanic goddess of the corn mother in some communities.
St. Walpurga Charm
Write your petition to Walpurga to protect all who work with you from harm from supernatural and othernatural sources.
Make a corn doll placing the petition inside.
Take a small silver vessel (cup or bowl) and fill with oil. Cover the opening with a stone.
Bring the doll with you every week and leave it at work, bringing it home every Friday in Lent.
On Friday, dip your finger into the oil and draw a cross on the chest of the doll, and a septagram on the back.
Use the remaining oil on your fingers to anoint the wick of a candle, and light it.
Extinguish before going to bed, and take the doll back to work on Monday.
On Easter Sunday, provide the doll with an offering of the food prepared and as thanks.
On April 30th, Walpurgisnacht, soak the doll in the remaining oil, and set it on fire after the sun has set.
You may scatter the ashes on the property to protect for another year.
This may be adjusted for home protection as well. Each week, move her to a different part of the house, returning her to your altar or working area every Friday.
