Speed Freaks and The American Dream. A few years ago as I worked my way around different events and happenings here in Southern California I kept seeing this beautiful mint green 1933 Buick Shafer Indy Car tribute and it stopped me every time, I them met the builders and owners of the car, Stanley and Daisy Chavik, who sold everything in their home country of Czechia to come to Southern California and live their American dream of building hot rods in the grand US of A. This is a love story with an incredible family and a dream that I had the honor of photographing earlier in 2020 and I am working on finding a publication to work with to share the series and this amazing story.
