inexpensive but brilliant christmas present ideas!!
money's tight for me and a lot of my friends so i just wrote down a few ideas on how to stay cheap but still give your friends amazing christmas presents :)
do a secret santa instead of individual gifts!! so fun and you only have to splash out on one person
write "open when..." letters. this is when you write your friends a series of letters that say "open when you're happy" or "open when you're sad". these are so cute and such a good way to show you care
make really awesome handmade cards! if you get some proper card and some sharpies and print off photos of their favourites like celebrities or their favourite hobby, and make it look pretty, these are so good and they and they show how much effort you've put in, and how much you know them.
mix cds. i cannot stress this enough. no ideas? okay. songs that remind you of them. songs that have been your theme tunes throughout the year. songs that you think they should listen to. more fabulous ideas from 8tracks.com
a photo of you and them or whoever, printed on glossy paper, in a nice frame. you can't go wrong with a letter to go with this.
a video of photos and videos of you from the year. i've done this and it's so adorable.
write them a story!!! seriously dude! haha you think i'm kidding. write them one of their favourite genre. or even poetry. or you could do a fanfiction with them and their favourite character/celebrity. print it off and put it in a lovely font and shazam, xmas present.
give them your favourite book. don't go out and buy a different copy. give them your copy, of your favourite book. write a little note inside it explaining why you love it so much, and tell them how it's your copy, and put little bookmarks and sticky notes inside your favourite pages. highlight your favourite quotes.
record them a song...hahaha i've done this before, it was one of the funniest things i've done in my entire life. we used garageband on a school computer to record a song for my friend for her birthday that we burned to a disc. it was a joke song, but if you're a good singer/rapper, this could be totally serious!!
make them a glitter jar. inexpensive and really cool.
if you're good with jewellery, make them a necklace or bracelets! my friend is amazing at making jewellery, and i look forward to her presents so much. she makes the most beautiful bracelets/necklaces/rings that don't cost her a penny.
hope these have inspired you! have a great holiday
