I’ve been watching episodes from Season 1 of Irwin Allen’s “The Time Tunnel” (1966-1967). Allen was a spendthrift producer not above reusing costumes, props, and sets to save money.
Case in point:
Aliens (S1E18 Visitors from Beyond the Stars)
Humans from the far future (S1E24 Chase Through Time)
Aliens from the Far Future (S1E28 The Kidnappers)
In each case the aliens and human had silver skin and silver uniforms (you can spot the red trim, confirming they were reused from the Robinson’s space suits from “Lost in Space”).

This is how i feel about expensive or higher quality art supplies. To this day, i still cant get myself to buy a pad of watercolor paper. And for years, i only used Crayola watercolors. As soon as i got out of art school and away from all their high grade paints, i bought mini cans of hardware store paint, and i was making mini canvases out of old t shirts and popsicle sticks. Odd, because I collect Copic markers now. lol And I'm a craft supply hoarder. But maybe it's related. I just feel too anxious about using supplies, unless i have tons of backup. And expensive supplies are too stressful to possibly "ruin".

Yes ... really.
No. Fire blankets, wet floor signs and general health and safety equipment in a restaurant are NOT optional extras. You do have to buy them. Yes. Really. YOU DO.
