The week before the fire Jake went to the vet for a checkup. The very next week this clinic almost burned down along with a significant portion of the town. Thanks to the determined efforts of thousands of firefighters, they took a stand and saved the town on one hellacious night of wind and fire.

The fire started on the night of Oct. 23, and is still burning, although it is no longer considered a threat and is expected to be fully contained by Nov. 7. I felt sick to my stomach when I read through social media reports that the fire was one street over from the clinic. Not to mention that it's only eight miles from my home. I really like Jake's vet and the staff are wonderful, I'm so happy it ended well!

These are amazing. There not tooo expensive and you can get them at your local staples, or walmart. Just make sure you don’t press to hard on the tips or the felts because then they will start to flatten. 😀

Destiny 2 is fully in the telenovelas territory now, story-wise. What a waste…

I am very past caring for the story. Just sticking around to pew-pew with friends.
