WIP Wednesday: Cheerleader Effect Sneak Peek
*in Luke’s voice* Boys...
I’ve been having mixed feelings about this fic as of lately.
I think I’ve hit a rock and I’m trying to push through it, but I think I’m gonna need some time to re-evaluate what needs to go into the story. I have even been thinking about going back and scrapping the last few chapters and start over. But who knows.
Anyway, here’s what would be the next chapter. Dialogue only because I haven’t touched on it in months. I apologize.
“I see there is a lot of confusion on how to go about this prank war,”
“I’ve been confused this whole time… but I thought it was just me,”
“Okay, then we straighten it out. We’ll set the rules up right now,”
“Now, wait just a minute! No one in this room should make the rules!”
“Well? We’re all a part of it,”
“That should make us the obvious choice on who gets to make the rules then,”
“Who in this room doesn’t have a stake in this? We’re just gonna rule in favor of our groups. Conflict of interest. I say, we bring in a third party. Someone to regulate the game whenever things get dicey,”
“How do we get a third party? We can’t exactly bring my dad in on this,”
“Or anyone else for that matter. This is as much of an inner circle as it is,”
“I think I know someone who can referee,”
“You said no conflict of interest,”
“I’d like to say I’m fair and impartial. Always the mediator when it comes to fights at the skate park,”
“What about me and Alex?”
