A few photos I manged to take at the Sutin Books and Comics signing this past Saturday. I was at the shop from roughly 1 p.m until 2 a.m., with a one hour Q&A in the afternoon. I didn't finish signing customer books until after 10 at night, the next four hours I signed employee books, orders for folks who couldn't make it to the store and the rest of the copies of Nerd Inferno, as well as a crate of Milk & Cheese vinyl figures they had in storage.
The line was long and the wait took up to five hours for some stalwarts, I appreciate everyone who came down to get something signed, sat in on the fun Q&A, and picked up a copy of Nerd Inferno, the Beasts of Burden Omnibus and/or the exclsuive Eltingville CLub print the store had made for the event. The shop still has signed and numbered prints left if anyone is interested. And the M&C figures. And a bunch of copies of Nerd Inferno, all signed.
I existed for three days on cane sugar Dr. Pepper, Cheerwine, candy bars, and some really excellent brisket on Saturday. Thanks to Dale, Joe and everyone at Austin B&C, and, again, everyone who came out and waited on line to say hello and get their books signed/sketched. I had an absolute blast.
